At Castle Rock we take to heart the importance of serving our fellow man as outlined in The Bible. Every three months we engage in community service projects to show the love of Christ in Castle Rock and the surrounding areas. This program, called House To Serve, provides us the opportunity to serve the sick, the elderly, the needy and the public servants in our community. Please see below for upcoming opportunities and pictures from previous service weekends!

Upcoming Projects

serve  the needy

On Saturday, March 10th, we will be serving at the Douglas and Elbert County Task Force. At the task force we will be helping them in their intake room as well as any other miscellaneous tasks that they need us to perform there. Please contact Nathaniel Weems, Norris Payne or Jake Lewis if you are interested in participating.

Friday, March 9th from 4:00 - 7:00 PM we will be serving dinner at the Ronald McDonald House (RMDH) in Aurora, Colorado. The RMDH provides a home away from home for families who have children being treated at Children's Hospital. We will be preparing and serving dinner for them. Please contact Kevin Bearly or Wayne Fletcher for more details.

Serve The Servants

Public servants put their lives, families and personal interests on the line in order to make our community safe, secure and successful. Often these servants are overlooked and we are going to take this opportunity to show our appreciation for what they do. On Saturday we will be assembling care packages and taking them to a variety of public servants in the Castle Rock area. Please contact Brad Riffel, Jerry Beisboer, Bill Young or John Miller for more details.

In our society we are quick to disregard those that are aging. The Bible tells us to honor our father and mother and to care for the elderly and windows and as such we will be visiting the residents of Pine Trails Retirement Center on March 11th at 1:30 PM. We will be singing to the residents there as well as playing games and encouraging them.  Please contact Lee Bader or Travis Kronberg for additional details.
